AKC Registered Golden Retriever Puppies

Kiara's 3rd Litter!

Kiara has 10 Registered Golden Retriever Puppies! They arrrived December 1st. We're sure she was waiting for the 1st snow fall and the full moon. Both of which were beautiful. What a wonderful way to start off our December.

This is her biggest litter yet. There are 5 Females and 5 Males. We have quite a variety of colors this time. Most of the girls are darker golden and most of the boys are light.

Kiara is doing amazingly well. All of the puppies are healthy and happy. Very active, fat bellies and adorable already.

12/5/09 - Puppies are 5 weeks old!

1/12/10 - Puppies are 6 weeks old!

They went to our Vet today, Dr. Robinson, and had a complete physical and their first Parvo and Distemper shots. The largest Puppy weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz. and the smallest Puppy weighed 8 lbs. 1 oz.! So they are all pretty much the same size and weight. (almost 2 bags of sugar) Dr. Robinson was very impressed with this litter being the same size and he said they are very healthy and he sees no problems whatsoever. They were also checked for cataracts in their eyes and they are all just perfect! They were so well behaved too, and he commented on that as well. He could tell our puppies are loved and are around humans all the time. They are adorable and we have had a really good time with all of them. They are like little dogs now, they do everything on their own. The paper training is proceeding nicely and they like new clean bedding everyday. They also are excited when we put "new things" in their pen to peak their interest. But the thing they love the most is to have people sit with them in their pen, so they can chew, lick and fall asleep in our arms :)

We have decided to adopt a Female and name her "Ginger" so she can carry on the wonderful job her Mother has graced us with. Such wonderful, beautiful puppies with wonderful personalities and so much love to give. We do have 3 cute males who would love to go home with lucky families who need a pet to love them as well.

Dam - Kiara Joy Pratt

Born October 2, 2005

Kiara has a Certified 3-Generation Pedigree from the American Kennel Club

Her hips were checked by Dr. James Robinson of Cofu/Darien Veterinary Clinic. She is in excellent health, and up to date on all vaccinations. A very loving female dog member of our Family! Very gentle temperament. Loves to go for a ride in any vehicle.

Sire - Ponderosa's King Chopper

Born July 4, 2005

Chopper has a Certified 3-Generation Pedigree from the American Kennel Club

He has an OFA Certificate dated 8/9/07, and his evaluation was GOOD. He is in excellent health, and up to date on all vaccinations. He is a beautiful male dog. Both Kiara and Chopper are the same size, born 3 months apart, and are very friendly. Chopper is slightly lighter in color than Kiara. They will have beautiful offspring!

Kiara's 2nd Litter

Her Delivery Date was September 15th. She has a Light Golden Male and a Dark Golden Female. Yes, that's right, only 2.

And since she had 9 puppies last time, she is used to a way bigger bunch, so these two little pups will have a LOT of Mommy's attention!

She actually seems to have more time on her hands, and is recovering very well and quickly.

She is again the best Mom and they are all very happy and healthy.

(Eyes are open, but still sleeping most of the time, eating and Growing Big quickly!)

(More awake playtime, barking, growling, walking better, responding to people, love to be pet and held, 4 canine teeth so far, and beginning to Paper Train!

10/13/08 - Kiara's Puppies are 4 Weeks!

(We have started Puppy Chow, drinking water, more Paper Training, and they have a full set of teeth now. Found that they can climb out of their bed, so we have put up the fence around them to keep them safe and secure. We take them outside in the fresh air and sunshine. They love people and are requesting more attention!)

10/20/08 - Kiara's Puppies are 5 Weeks!

They are becoming "little dogs" now and do Everything Mom does. Still love to go outside and spend time with People.

10/27/08 - Kiara's Puppies are 6 Weeks!

Puppies had their first Vet Visit today and are very Healthy and Strong. They weighed in at 11 and 12 lbs. We also had their first experience with Snow this week! They really love it outside where they can run and play without any boundaries.

3/19/08 ~ Kiara's puppies are 6 wks! ~ (true little dogs - they do Everything!)

They had their first "tub bath" 3/15 and turned into fluffballs, so adorable.

Went to Dr. Robinson, our veterinarian, on 3/18 for their first Checkup and their first shot series - Distemper and Parvo. He said they were very healthy and big for their age. Kiara did a great job!

Please, if interested, check back this Summer for additional Litter Information. Kiara was such a wonderful Mom and it was a tremendous experience for our Entire Family, that we will definately do this again and will have more puppies available October-November.

And those of you who have adopted one of our Puppies from this Litter: We will contact you regarding our "Puppy Reunion." We're thinking of having it here around August 2008!! We are really excited to see how they grow and what colors they will end up! Please send pictures to us ANYTIME. We know your puppy will be happy and loved as much as we have loved them.
